How to reach Acutis depends on a single question: are you already the mother of an enrolled student, or are you getting to know the school for the first time? Each case has its own path.

Access and Moodle Platform

How do I access the Moodle platform for the first time?

After enrollment is confirmed, you receive by email the access credentials (login and temporary password) for both the student and the parents. At first login, the system asks you to create a new password. The full walkthrough is sent in the email and also explained in the Planning Meeting.

I forgot my password. How do I recover it?

On the platform's login screen there is a "Forgot my password" option — just enter your registered email and follow the instructions. If you still have trouble, send a message to the school's WhatsApp and we will issue new credentials within an hour.

Are live classes recorded for later access?

Yes. Every live class is automatically recorded and stays available on the Moodle platform throughout the school year. That means missing a class does not compromise learning: the student can review the content at their own pace.

Communication and Support

How long until I hear back from the team?

Within business hours (Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM), our commitment is to respond within one hour. Messages sent outside that window are answered at the start of the next business day.

What are the team's business hours?

Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM (Brasília time). On weekends and holidays there is no active support, but you may send your message anyway — it enters the queue for the first slot of the next business day.

How do I speak directly with the team?

For already-enrolled families: through Acutis's official WhatsApp, whose number is given at the Planning Meeting. Your message reaches a team specialist directly — no chatbot, no queue. Response within one hour, 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

For those who are not yet an Acutis mother: the right channel is the Free Educational Consultation form, where a consultant will reach out to address your questions about the school.

Day-to-Day and Routine

Is there a WhatsApp group for families?

Yes — and it is an important part of the Acutis experience. Right after enrollment, the family is added to the official families group. It combines institutional notices (calendar, meetings, events) with living fellowship between mothers and fathers who share the same values.

Can I follow my child's grades and attendance?

Yes, in real time. The Moodle platform shows grades, class-by-class attendance, pending and submitted assignments, teacher comments, and the calendar. Parents have their own access (separate from the student's), so you can follow everything without logging in with your child's password.

Does my child need to be in front of the computer all day?

No. The class load varies by level: a short routine in Kindergarten, about seven hours per week in Elementary, thirteen in Middle, twenty-two in High School. The live-class schedule depends on the cohort — some run in the morning, others in the afternoon — and is set at the start of the school year. Time outside of class is free for assignments, reading, sports, and family life.

And if my child has to travel — does he miss class?

No, because every live class is recorded and available on the platform. During trips, illness, or unexpected events, the student keeps up through the recording and returns to the routine without gaps. It is one of the structural advantages of online school.
