Curriculum · American K-12

A demanding curriculum, faith as the foundation.

We do not believe in a stripped-down curriculum. Here, your child learns three languages from an early age, writes argumentative essays at thirteen, and studies advanced mathematics at seventeen.

We do not believe in a stripped-down curriculum.
The child was born to learn much — and early.

The four stages

What your child learns, stage by stage.

From Pre-K through 12th grade, the curriculum grows in density and depth — without losing what matters: the unity of faith, reason, and beauty.

Faculty

An Experienced and Committed Faculty.

Our team of teachers brings together solid academic formation, classroom experience, and deep commitment to the values of the Catholic faith. Each educator is carefully selected not only for intellectual competence, but for the capacity to transmit the truth, goodness, and beauty present in the Christian tradition.

Because we operate in an international, online model, we are free to draw on highly qualified teachers from different regions, gathering talents who share the same educational mission. A large portion of our faculty holds graduate degrees and broad experience in classical teaching and in the formation of children and adolescents.

More than a working team, we cultivate a true academic community, marked by collaboration, closeness, and unity of purpose among teachers, students, and families.

Academic preparation

Academic Preparation of Excellence.

Whatever path the student chooses — major international universities, Catholic liberal arts colleges, or any other higher education — our academic proposal offers a solid foundation to face the challenges of university life with confidence.

The intellectual rigor of the classical curriculum develops essential skills like analytical reading, writing, argument, logical reasoning, and command of the sciences, preparing students for demanding admissions processes and for a high-level academic journey.

Reading plan

What your child reads, from 5th to 12th grade.

A reading plan curated by Fr. Rodrigo Gurgel. Each stage has its own list, tailored to the student's age — see the full lineup on the dedicated level pages.

Certification

All of this results in an American K-12 diploma.

The Acutis curriculum is certified by Kolbe Academy (California), one of the leading classical Catholic schools in the United States. The diploma is recognized by universities in the U.S., in Europe, and — after validation — in Brazilian college entrance exams and institutions.
